I am offering two options when it comes to backing paper on this stamp: original (2nd photo), and remounted (1st photo).
 
Original: these stamps will come on their original backing paper as they came from USPS, but they will have small tears on the corners of the backing paper (NOT the stamp) making it look less "clean."
 
Remounted: these stamps have been peeled off their original backing paper and placed on different sticker backing paper that is intended for sticking and re-sticking stickers. They can still be easily removed, intact, from the new backing paper at any point.
